More than a Job a Day

More than 200 new arts jobs across London  & Essex have been given the green light thanks to NDotM (New Deal of the Mind).

Working in partnership with a range of arts and cultural organisations including the British Library, Young Vic, Lyric Hammersmith, Notting Hill Mas and the Royal Court Theatre, NDotM successfully bid for funding through the government’s Future Jobs Fund which is aimed at helping find placements for young people who’ve been unemployed for six months or  more. Bradshaw announces jobs boost for young people (including jobs run by NDotM)

Stratford CircusMore than 600 new jobs in the cultural, creative and sport sectors were announced by Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw today, in a range of projects aimed at getting young people out of unemployment and onto the first rung of the career ladder.

Future Jobs Fund money is today confirmed for jobs around England and Wales in sectors as diverse as theatres and music venues, digital archiving, media production and the furthering the Olympic sporting legacy.
